Abstract:
Background and Objectives: Many beliefs, biases, lack of knowledge, and fears make it hard to see the spinal artery. The author looked into the spinal artery. The study wanted to find out how the growth of the left spinal artery affects surgery on the neck.
Methods: The research was conducted in the Department of Orthopaedics, Madha Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, India, from March 2016 to February 2017. A cadaver was acquired from a corpse donation program for medical students to dissect during this investigation. This facilitated students in acquiring practical experience. The 75-year-old Caucasian donor passed away unexpectedly due to a severe urinary tract infection.
Results: The complicated structure of the proximal vertebral artery, the arterial origin of the left vertebral artery, and their roles in the blood flow to the brain are all linked. The complicated shape of the proximal vertebral artery and its connection to the aortic root of the LVA are what make this link possible.
Conclusion: This study not only describes the strange thing, but it also looks at what it means in terms of health and how common it is compared to other birth defects like Down syndrome and similar conditions. The problem was known to be unique to people with Down syndrome.
